The Appcelerator MBaaS is built for the security needs of the
enterprise and is used across highly regulated verticals such as
financial services, insurance, health and pharmaceuticals. The MBaaS
is part of the Appcelerator Platform, which provides six layers of
enterprise mobile security:
1. Authentication and authorization: oAuth, LDAP, Active

2. Encryption for data in motion: SSL, in-app VPN, IPsec
3. Encryption for data at rest (client): native encryption and
